A Course in Miracles online – The Correction of error involves seeing that the error is a belief in the mind and not "in" the world (“Seek not to change the world, but choose to change your mind about the world” ACIM T-21-In.1), the understanding that there are no levels or degrees of error (“There is no order of difficulty in miracles,” ACIM T-1.I and “There is no hierarchy of illusions” ACIM T-26.VII.6), and that Truth has no exceptions (the miracle transfers to everything which involves perception).
Applying this to books is to see that books or paths or anything specific do not "contain" errors, but the lens of distorted perception IS the error. This is the meaning of "before seeking to remove the beam from your brother's eye, remove the log from your own." There is only one problem and that the problem has already been solved. Yet the Solution cannot be accepted until the problem is recognized.
In any book you will find what you are looking for, based on your readiness. Perception reflects what the mind desires. Form is just a symbolic representation of what the mind desires. "Seek and ye shall find" means: desire Truth and You shall experience your Self and God. "Blessed are the pure of Heart for they shall see God" means: desire only Divine Love and release all attack thoughts and You shall See with the Vision of Christ.
It is impossible to "see" error in the world and correct it so it will not be repeated, for "seeing" error in the world is how error is protected, not released. Yet once error (the belief in separation) is seen as but a false belief in mind, and therefore all attempts to project the error to the world and all attempts to blame anything of the world have been laid aside, complete forgiveness is accepted.
In complete forgiveness (the Correction) is the understanding that there is nothing to forgive. This is the Atonement, and accepting the Atonement is the goal. The Atonement sees that "the impossible" never happened. And thus the Atonement Correction is the gateway to Divine Mind, Which knows not of error.
